It's from the second book of an entire trilogy i binge-wrote in like a month when i was off uni, which is relatively half-done (i'm currently on round 2 of revising and completing coherent stories out of them). there's even a fourth book, a memoir from sam's perspective of the events of the first three books, which i'm uploading serially on its own substack https://anormalamountofdamage.substack.com/
thank you 🤭🤭 tbh I was considering uploading the first three books serially as well behind a paywall, just bc the first book is from the perspective of a serial groomer and that’s not really something I want floating around for anyone to stumble on who isn’t familiar with me or my writing, lest I suffer from the lolita effect and be completely misunderstood. But I’m suuuuper eager to share the series with others, each of the books has its own tone and genre almost but the overarching story is soooo compelling. (It follows a groomer and two of her victims over a total timespan of 14 years)
