Poem: Sad Serenade
ghost of chemistry haunts your breath
air tastes like salt in the tears that I wept
you speak, my soul remembers death
premonitions that weren’t kept
i am visited by black holes
in the witch hours where souls feel alone
i’m a digital corpse that scrolls
trying to find god in my phone
a piece of my heart is missing
my motivation’s got nothing to give
memories fade of us kissing
is this a pain i can outlive?
you are crawling under my skin
my vision of life has gone dull and grim
the thread between us has grown thin
i no longer hear our old hymn
i feel lonelier in the lack
it seemed, for a moment, like we were a match
i plead, baby can you come back
i’ll give you another head scratch 🥺

i am visited by black holes
in the witch hours where souls feel alone
i’m a digital corpse that scrolls
trying to find god in my phone
Wow I love this one sm. You’re incredible I hope they come back to you!
