This brought tears to my eyes not just because I relate to parts of it but because my grandmother suffered from schizophrenia for a lot of her adult life and I was too young to fully be there for her then. I wonder if she felt this way, I wonder if she too felt alone despite being surrounded by people who love her but maybe don’t fully understand her. I am so proud of you for wording this feeling I think people need to know more about the reality of their loved ones who grapple with psychosis and self identity but might not be as skilled with words. I wish you the best
